HAMILTON - Cedrick Desjardins made 25 saves as the Hamilton Bulldogs blanked the Syracuse Crunch 3-0 on Saturday night in the AHL.
Dejardins posted his second-straight shutout and extended his shutout streak to 126:08.
Mike Glumac opened the scoring for Hamilton at 3:53 of the first frame, tipping a shot past Syracuse starting goaltender Kevin Lalande.
The Bulldogs (39-23-2-0) took a 2-0 lead at 15:28 of the second stanza when Steve Gainey grabbed a loose rebound before banking the puck off the back of Lalande's pads and into the net.
Ryan Russell secured the win in the third period, scoring an empty-net goal with less than a minute left.
Lalande stopped 20 shots for Syracuse (30-27-4-2).
