Cory Schneider earns fourth shutout of the season as Moose beat Bruins 4-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Cory Schneider made 23 saves for the shutout as the Manitoba Moose beat the Providence Bruins 4-0 in AHL action Sunday.

Playing their third game in three days, the league-leading Moose (38-14-0-5) showed no signs of exhaustion against the Bruins (30-21-2-1).

Shaun Heshka, Maxime Fortunus, Guillaume Desbiens and Jason Krog scored for Manitoba, which earned its 14th consecutive point on the road to tie a franchise record.

The shutout is Schneider's fourth of the year, while at the other end Tuukka Rask stopped 18 shots.
