Syracuse Crunch get 27 saves from Dahm, beat Hamilton Bulldogs 2-1

HAMILTON - The Syracuse Crunch got strong goaltending from Sebastian Dahm and two goals in a 4:19 span in the third period to beat the Hamilton Bulldogs 2-1 in American Hockey League action Wednesday.

After the Bulldogs (28-19-2-0) took a 1-0 lead in just over six minutes into the second, the Crunch stormed back on goals from Derek MacKenzie and Trevor Frischmon in the third. MacKenzie took a feed from Mike York on a 2-on-1 break at 9:19 to tie the game at one.

Just over four minutes later Frischmon tipped a John Vigilante shot past Bulldogs goalie Marc Denis for a 2-1 lead.

Kyle Chipchura scored Hamilton's only goal on a breakaway at 6:11 of the second.

Dahm made 27 for the Crunch (23-20-3-2) while, Denis stopped 17 pucks for the Bulldogs.
