Rangers defenceman Michal Rozsival out due to family reasons

NEW YORK - Rangers defenceman Michal Rozsival sat out Saturday night against the New Jersey Devils due to family issues, but is expected to return for New York's next game.

Rozsival, who scored three of his five goals this season in the previous three games, had played in New York's first 37 contests. The Rangers will host the New York Islanders on Monday night.

Corey Potter was recalled by New York from Hartford of the AHL on Saturday morning and he was in the lineup against the Devils hours later.

Potter made his NHL debut with the Rangers on Dec. 7 against Calgary, but hasn't played since. He went with the team on its recent three-game California trip, but only as an injury insurance policy.
