Coyotes hope to bounce back against Stars

Phoenix (12-3-2) at Dallas (10-12-4) 8:30 p.m. EST

DALLAS (Ticker) -- Coming off its most lopsided loss, the
Phoenix Coyotes will look to salvage the final game of a
three-game road trip Wednesday.

The Coyotes go for just their second win in their last eight
contests away from home when they take on the Dallas Stars.

Phoenix was routed, 7-1, on Sunday by the Chicago Blackhawks.
Ilya Bryzgalov allowed all seven goals before the midway point
of the second period as the Coyotes allowed the most goals in a
single game this season.

Enver Lisin had the only goal for Phoenix, which may get a
much-needed boost with the return of Olli Jokinen. The center
is expected to be in action after missing the last six games
with a shoulder injury.

Dallas returns to work after its first win after regulation.
The Stars had lost two games in overtime and another pair in the
shootout before registering a victory in the bonus format
against Colorado on Friday.

Marty Turco allowed the game-tying goal with 56 seconds left to
send the game into overtime and surrendered a goal in the first
round of the shootout, but Turco stopped the next three
attempts.

Mike Ribeiro knotted the shootout, 1-1, and Mike Madono tallied
the game-winner for the Stars, who beat the Coyotes, 3-2, on
Saturday.
