Scoring change gives Svatos tying goal in Colorado's 2-1 win over Canucks

DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche's game-tying goal against the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday was scored by Marek Svatos, not Paul Stastny.

The team announced Thursday that the NHL's scoring change also gave assists to Stastny and Wojtek Wolski.

Svatos scored a power-play goal early in the third period. The Avalanche went on to win 2-1 in a shootout. Wolski and Svatos scored in the shootout.
