Blue Jackets goaltender Pascal Leclaire on IR, out at least a week

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Pascal Leclaire was placed on injured reserve Thursday because of a lower-body injury.

He's expected to miss at least a week.

The club added goalie Dan LaCosta on an emergency recall from Syracuse of the AHL.

It was an interesting phemonenon...the better Mason played, the better Pazzy's ankle felt! Pazzy, as a starting goalie, has only been available for just over half of the last 50 or so games due to injury. This isn't a starting goalie, this is Rick DiPietro. Hopefully Mason's presence, not only pushes him to clean up his technique, but also to maintain his health.
