and why do you think mason fares any better than norena would? the kid has a serious lack of professional experience, where as noreenas was the top goalie in Sm Ligia a few years back \

Noreena WAS a top goalie (and in a lesser league) is the whole issue. Clearly you haven't watched either of the two. Two years ago Noreena was decent, however his save percentage since January of this year is right around the .860 mark. THAT's why. Mason, has stood tall, and although he is young and inexperienced, all he has done is win so far. Pazzy will be healthy by the weekend and decisions will have to be made. There are contractual issues that might keep Noreena around for a bit longer than anyone would like, but he is done as an NHL goalie. He hasn't been NHL caliber in at least a year.

Hopefully they will bring Dorsett back up, but with the three goalie situation, it might be tough. Dorsett shouldn't have been sent down in the first place, but because of Picard's need to go through waivers, Dorsett had to go. If these guys send Mason down because they are stuck contract-wise, they deserve what they get with Noreena in the net (a string of losses).
