The Hockey News player of the week for Oct. 20-26 is Calgary Flames captain Jarome Iginla, who picked up four goals and six points in three games.

The star power forward was there for his team when it needed him most in a 5-3 win over Nashville Thursday.

The Flames trailed 3-0 midway through the second period when Iginla broke the goose egg, put in another to start the third, then salted away the comeback with an empty-netter for the hat trick.

Iggy followed that up with a one goal, three point effort in a 4-1 victory over Phoenix on Saturday.

The right winger leads the Flames with 10 points in eight games this season.
