There are still a few classic crests in the Ontario League, but like all major junior circuits, expansion, franchise movements and wholesale makeovers have eliminated many of them. Some of the new creations are quite fetching; others are a dog’s breakfast. No surprise, however, that our top three is composed of teams who found a good thing and stuck with it.
Many animals can be found in the OHL, which makes sense for a game marketed to families more so than other leagues. When done right, we liked the cartoony critters. Others tested our patience and didn’t fare so well.
Over the month of August, THN will rank the logos of 16 North American leagues. Click HERE to go to THN's Logo Rankings Central page and click HERE to vote for your top OHL logo as part of our tournament to discover the fans' choice for the top logo in hockey.
