New York Rangers agree to terms with restricted free agent Dan Fritsche

NEW YORK - The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with restricted free agent forward Dan Fritsche.

Fritsche, 23, had 22 points (10-12) in 69 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets last season. The six-foot-one, 206-pounder has 63 points (29-34) in 206 career NHL games with Columbus.

The Parma, Ohio native was originally Columbus's second-round choice, 46th overall, in the 2003 NHL draft.
