Blues re-sign forward Jay McClement, sign forward Matt Foy

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues signed free-agent forward Matt Foy and re-signed centre Jay McClement on Monday.

Blues president John Davidson said McClement agreed to a US$950,000, one-year deal. He had nine goals and 13 assists in 81 games last season for St. Louis.

Foy had four goals and four assists in 28 games last season with the Minnesota Wild.

Terms of the Matt Foy's deal were not disclosed.

Having seen Foy play at the AHL level, I would be excited if he signed with my hometown team. Enjoy, Toronto fans.
