SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Sharks re-signed centre Marcel Goc to a US$775,000, one-year deal on Monday.
Goc, 24, had eight points (5-3) in 51 games last season. "Marcel is a young player who is at a point in his career where he is ready to make the next step," Sharks GM Doug Wilson said in a release. "We are looking forward to seeing his game evolve."
Goc has 43 points (18-25) in 210 career games.
The Sharks also re-signed forwards Tom Cavanagh and Brad Staubitz to one-year deals.
