Toronto is for sure going for the 2009 first round pick (1/1) because that would be none other than John Tavares, who is from T.O.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, who is one of the best CHL players, I'll bet, one of the top 10 under 20 year old's in the world! By the way, Toronto, of all teams! (there were only 2!) won Lord Stanley on Canada's Centennial Anniversary, and thus are cursed since they have yet to win it since that time! It'll be another 15 years before T.O. will make the playoffs. i.e. It took Detroit 20 years after drafting Stevie Y!!!!!!!!! Predictions: Chicago, this will be the year they make the playoffs, last time, I think, was when Chris Chelios payed there! Vancouver will turn into a basement dwelling club a la Panthers, watch for Luongo to be traded, and B.Burke will be unmasked as a GM who can trade but who can't develop! i.e. Bryan Murray built Anaheim, and well, just look at Vancouver's propects over the past 5 years! Never heard of any of 'em! Ottawa will be no where near what it was for the first half of last year nor the past 3 years. Canada's Capital will have Senators about as useless as the real one's !!!! Finally, Wade Redden will finally, after 11 years, will start to play like Brian Leetch and will stop holding back, I for one blame J. Martin and defensive hockey!!!

not sure how to comment. Mike & Steve, you do know the Leafs are rebuilding, right ? the sarcasm doesn't fit. Great move by the sharks, for Boyle, but, I think TB might come out on top in the long run. Carle is on his way up.
