So Gary Bettman is complaining about scoring being down by, what, point something of a percent per game?
Perhaps he should look at soccer, where they have a net the size of Prince Edward Island and a guy in there with nothing but cleats on. You don't hear many complaints about 1-0 games or a lack of scoring.
Gary, hockey isn't soccer and it isn't basketball. The game is where it should be and if you are considering a change, lose some of the seats and put in Olympic-sized ice so the men who play today’s game have room to play.
