I just wanted to inform the hockey world about a great gesture Mike "Doc" Emrick initiated.
We were at the CNN Center in Atlanta waiting in line when Mike walked past. I said hello to him and we spoke for a while. He asked us if we had tickets to the All-Star Game that night.
When we told him we didn’t he reached into his suit and gave us two club level seats.
He made a 10-year-old boy and a lifelong hockey fan very happy.
Mr. Emrick is not just a great announcer, but also a great human being.
Thanks again Mike!
