Jackets need to make a move; starting with Fedorov

I sure hope that Blue Jackets GM Scott Howson plans on getting rid of Sergei Fedorov before the trade deadline.

Here we are about halfway through the season and the Jackets still have a good shot at making the playoffs. Fedorov is the highest paid player with Columbus and he would be considered a second line center at best.

His 22 points so far this year isn't going to cut it. Columbus could have two pretty good centers for his salary, which is exactly what they need.

They might also look to deal aging defenseman Adam Foote who’s big salary might also be better spent on one or two younger offensive defensemen.

Will the Blackhawks come back from a 2-1 series deficit to win the Stanley Cup?

“I think when you’re at home the first two games, sometimes you get a little bit too comfortable at home. Then you come on the road, maybe it’s like a rude awakening…We’ve had three series to figure that out, learn it. We definitely want to be better (Monday), especially in the first game on the road.”
