Flyers trade defenceman Jussi Timonen to Dallas for conditional pick

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Flyers dealt defenceman Jussi Timonen to the Dallas Stars on Monday for a conditional draft pick in 2009.

Timonen had seven assists in 14 games with the Flyers' American Hockey League affiliate Philadelphia Phantoms this season. The 24-year-old had four assists and six penalty minutes in 14 games for Flyers last season.

Timonen was chosen by the Flyers in the fifth round of the 2001 draft.
