Morten Madsen's shootout-winner gives Aeros 2-1 victory over Moose

WINNIPEG - Morten Madsen scored the deciding goal in shootout to lift the Houston Aeros over the Manitoba Moose 2-1 in the AHL on Friday.

Michael Grabner opened the scoring for Manitoba (14-7-2-1) in the first period, getting his seventh of the year. Brad Moran and Mike Keane assisted on the marker.

Danny Irmen tied it up for Houston in the second period on a feed from Marco Rosa.

Ryan Hamilton also scored in shootout for the Aeros (11-10-1-1).

Both Houston's Nolan Schaefer and Manitoba's Drew MacIntyre stopped 28 of 29 shots in regulation time.
