He has always been classy and a truly great nhler. I think Pittsburgh would deal with Mark in a very appropriate way but as in life...it's a business and just that. I wish he catches on elsewhere. Not only for his talent but his character and what he brings to the NHL that way. You can usually replace talent for talent but not character for character. And in Hockey I believe we value character more. As fans. Will miss him if he retires but I think he will be happy with more time spent with family. The life we all wish.

I hope they buy Recchi out so he can sign on with another team at less than his current contract. He still has a little gas in the tank, it's unfortunate that the Penguins are treating with so little loyalty and gratitude, He has been a very good player for a long time...it would be a shame to see him ride off into the sunset in this manner.
