The Hockey News player of the week for Nov. 19-25 is Dallas Stars goalie Mike Smith.

The 25-year-old stopper blanked Los Angeles 3-0 and posted one-goal wins over the Leafs and Rangers as the Stars continued their turnaround. Smith, who turned aside 39 shots in the win over New York, recorded a 1.00 goals-against average and a .963 save percentage over the three contests.

A native of Kingston, Ont., Smith has a 6-3-0 record this year with a 2.19 GAA and a .916 save percentage. He has won his last four starts.
