The Rangers may have struggled early on this season, but Henrik Lundqvist has been very strong between the pipes.

The Hockey News player of the week for Oct. 29 to Nov. 4 is Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist.

The 25-year-old had a 3-0-0 record, a 0.65 goals-against average and a .976 save percentage last week, picking up wins over Tampa Bay, Washington and New Jersey; allowing only a goal apiece to the Lightning and Devils and shutting out the Caps.

A seventh round pick (205th overall) of the Rangers back in 2000, Lundqvist is 6-6-1 with a 1.74 GAA and .939 SP overall this season.
