The 10 most overvalued fantasy players for 2015-16

Which high-profile players will cost you a lot at the draft table and burn you with subpar production? Here are some names to avoid in pools for 2015-16. More

    AHL Logo Ranking: No. 12 – Charlotte Checkers

    It’s been tough times the past two seasons for the Charlotte Checkers, but at least they look great. The franchise has its roots in Albany where the River Rats had one of the most instantly recognizable AHL logos of all time, but the Checkers mark is certainly a worthy competitor for the franchise’s best.

    Top 2018 draft prospect Ryan McLeod traded to Mississauga

    The MVP of the OHL Cup had been drafted by the Flint Firebirds, but was not going to report. So the relocated franchise traded his rights to McLeod's hometown Steelheads for a bevy of picks.

    If one player could add intrigue to the alumni game between the Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings, it’s Claude Lemieux. Lemieux confirmed that he would be playing in the Feb. 26 alumni game at the Stadium Series between the former rival teams.

    Peter DeBoer’s 15-year-old son commits to Boston University

    It has been a big off-season in the DeBoer household. First, Peter DeBoer landed a new job as the bench boss of the San Jose Sharks and now his 15-year-old son Jack has committed to Boston University for the 2018-19 season.

    New York Islanders to go black and white in Brooklyn

    The New York Islanders aren’t abandoning blue and orange altogether, but they are getting a black and white alternate jersey for the new campaign. According to multiple reports, the new jersey will match the color scheme of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, who also play out of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

    AHL’s Heat, Condors to play outdoor game in California

    The Stockton Heat and Bakersfield Condors are set to take part in the first AHL outdoor game in California. In December, the Heat will host the Condors at Raley Field in West Sacramento, Calif., for an outdoor game as part of the Golden State Hockey Rush.
