Columbus Blue Jackets center Brandon Dubinsky was suspended one game for a cross check to the head of Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby, but Dubinsky says the suspension isn’t going to change his playing style. The suspension was the first of Dubinsky’s career, and he said he’s going to keep playing Crosby “as physical as [he] can.”

KHL player Vitaly Sitnikov is ‘fine’ after taking a skate to the throat in a game Sunday. Sitnikov was cut by former NHLer Ladislav Nagy’s skate and immediately headed to the bench. Sitnikov was stretchered off the ice and, according to his coach, will by OK following surgery to repair the cut.
