MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens dealt centre Kyle Chipchura to the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick in 2011.
Chipchura, a first-round pick of the Canadiens in 2004, has been held pointless in 19 games this season.
The 23-year-old split the past couple seasons between the NHL and American Hockey League. He has four goals and 14 points in 68 career NHL games.
Chipchura won the Calder Cup with the Hamilton Bulldogs in 2007 and was captain of the Canadian world junior team that won gold in 2006.
